During these days, comprehensive preventive repairs and maintenance of equipment, warehouse facilities, and facilities for storing and storing raw cotton are being carried out at the cotton‑cleaning enterprises of the «Daşoguzpagta» production association, strictly in accordance with the planned work schedule.

The seasonal work carried out annually is designed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of enterprises during the upcoming processing of the new harvest. If necessary, we carry out inspection, adjustment and replacement of worn parts of various process equipment, routine repairs and cleaning of cyclone systems, pneumatic transport pipelines, preventive maintenance of production workshops, indoor and outdoor raw material areas, weighing facilities and laboratories.

Much attention is also paid to issues of safe operation of electrical equipment, fire safety, and prevention of environmental pollution. Timely and thorough preventative maintenance will enable the enterprises of the association to produce high-quality products during the processing season, including preserving the natural quality of cotton fibre.

As is known, Dashoguz velayat is one of the largest producers of medium-fibre cotton varieties in the country. It has a developed network of modern processing facilities, including a state-of-the-art specialised seed cotton processing plant located in the Koneurgench etrap with a capacity of 40 thousand tons of product per year and a cotton receiving terminal for the simultaneous storage of 10 thousand tons of raw cotton.

In recent years, thanks to targeted support from the state, technical re-equipment has been carried out at cotton ginning plants in the Akdepe etrap and Gorogly etrap. Also, within the «Daşoguzpagta» production association alone, there are over forty cotton collection points designed for the organised reception, primary processing, weighing, quality assessment, temporary storage, and subsequent dispatch of the harvest to cotton ginning plants.
