The team of the Dashoguz “Çeper” sewing factory of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan produced goods worth more than 11 million 716 thousand manats during the past seven months of the current year.
Among the manufactured products are dozens of types of clothing for children and adults, bed linen, and home textiles. At the same time, the main share of production consisted of uniforms manufactured to orders from various institutions and organizations. The factory’s products enjoy high demand due to the high quality of cutting and sewing. Durable and environmentally friendly domestic materials are used in production.
The availability of high-tech equipment capable of efficiently performing numerous operations allows Dashoguz seamstresses to produce goods that meet modern requirements. In order to ensure stable consumer demand, the enterprise is consistently working on expanding the range and updating the line of manufactured products. The factory team intends to maintain high working rates and produce goods worth more than 21 million manats by the end of the year.
The Dashoguz velayat, being one of the country’s major producers of raw cotton, has sufficient opportunities for its deep processing. A number of cotton-ginning enterprises, as well as large cotton-spinning factories in the city of Dashoguz and in the Kunyaurgench etrap, successfully operate here, with their products in demand on the global market. In recent years, thanks to comprehensive state support for entrepreneurial initiatives and favorable economic conditions created for small and medium-sized businesses, several private enterprises producing clothing in large volumes have been opened in the velayat.
