Bridges of Culture: “Soyuzmultfilm” Animation Studio Presented Its Proposals at the “Kids Expo” in Ashgabat

The international exhibition and fair “Kids Expo: Everything for Children” continues in the capital of Turkmenistan. The annual forum traditionally serves as a key platform for dialogue among leading domestic and foreign manufacturers of goods for children, as well as organizations working in the fields of education, upbringing and children’s leisure.

Among the exhibition’s distinguished participants this year is the renowned Russian animation studio “Soyuzmultfilm”. Yulia Golova, Head of the Studio’s Licensing Department, shared her impressions of her visit to Ashgabat with a “GA” correspondent and spoke about strategic plans for developing cooperation.

The animation studio brought large-scale proposals to the exhibition for Turkmen manufacturers and business representatives.

“We are sincerely grateful to the organizers for inviting us to this wonderful forum. As part of our licensing program, we are actively developing new product categories and expanding our geographical presence.

Our studio is offering Turkmen partners the opportunity to consider cooperation based on our famous brands – both characters from the legendary ‘Golden Collection’, on which more than one generation grew up, and new contemporary projects. Our goal is to get acquainted with major manufacturers in Turkmenistan across a wide range of industries and offer them the integration of beloved animated characters into the production of high-quality children’s goods. We have many meetings scheduled in Ashgabat, and we look forward to productive negotiations,” shared Yulia.

The studio representative noted the high level of linguistic and cultural affinity, which facilitates the building of business and creative bridges.

“It is very pleasant to note that practically everyone in Turkmenistan speaks Russian fluently. The older generation knows and loves the characters of ‘Soyuzmultfilm’ very well, and today our task is to introduce them more closely to the country’s young residents. At present, we are discussing the organization of screenings of our animated productions on the big screens of Turkmen cinemas.

For our part, we will be delighted to welcome our Turkmen colleagues at Russian venues. We have a number of major festivals planned, and thanks to active cooperation with ‘TurkmenExpo’, we will be pleased to see Turkmen animators participate in our projects,” continued the Russian guest.

Concluding the conversation, Yulia Golova shared her first impressions of her acquaintance with the capital of Turkmenistan.

“I arrived at night, and nighttime Ashgabat made an indelible impression on me. This is my first time here, and the city seems truly magical – dazzlingly white, impeccably clean, with perfectly symmetrical architecture executed with refined taste. The harmonious combination of majestic buildings and green avenues is a true hallmark of the capital’s urban development. I sincerely wish Turkmenistan sustainable prosperity, and its hospitable people happiness and well-being!” concluded Yulia.
