The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan invites you to virtual exhibitions

The State museum of fine arts of Turkmenistan invites everyone to view the online exhibition «Garaşsyz, baky Bitarap Türkmenistan – bedew batly at-myradyň mekany», dedicated to the legendary Ahal-teke horses.

The exhibition features paintings and sculptures celebrating the grace of «heavenly horses» – the faithful companions of the Turkmen people, their pride, and an enduring standard of beauty.

The second online exhibition is dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the birth of honoured artist of Turkmenistan Nyyazmyrat Dovodov. A true patriot of his homeland, the artist captured the traditional way of life and warmth of his native land in his canvases. His realistic paintings transport the viewer to an atmosphere of genuine hospitality – from colourful portraits of famous figures of the epoch to cozy everyday scenes with bagshy, the sounds of the dutar, and a bowl of hot tea.

You can view the exhibitions on the official website of the museum at the link. To gain full access to the virtual halls, you must register on the digital platform.

According to museum specialists, this virtual format not only expands international collaboration with leading global galleries but also provides art lovers from around the world with the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the spiritual and material richness of culture of Turkmenistan.

Using 3D panorama technology, visitors can zoom in on exhibits and study informational notes about the creation of each painting.
