On the occasion of National Hindi Day (Hindi Divas), which is celebrated annually on the 14th of September, the Embassy of India in Turkmenistan is organising a number of creative competitions.
In-person competitive trials will take place on the 10th of September. The program includes three areas:
Recitation competition – for those who study and practice Hindi. Participants will be required to memorise and expressively recite a poetry passage or poem in Hindi.
Essay Competition – This competition is designed for participants who can express their thoughts freely in Hindi. The essay topic will be announced on the day of the competition.
Drawing Competition – everyone with artistic skills is invited. The theme of the works is everything related to India and the Hindi language. Paper will be provided by the organisers, but participants must bring their own brushes and watercolour paints.
