During a visit to the new Dental Centre, which is nearing completion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the equipment of the implantology department and dental laboratory. The introduction of innovative artificial intelligence-powered systems will help automate prosthetic procedures and improve the precision of surgical interventions.
The implantology department’s treatment rooms have been equipped with high-precision digital 3D scanning devices. Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms can rapidly process large volumes of data, calculating with exceptional accuracy the positioning, distances, and angles for implant placement.
A key component of the facility’s infrastructure is the digitally controlled dental laboratory, designed to accommodate 45 specialists.
The laboratory is equipped with modern CAD/CAM software and systems (computer-aided design and manufacturing). Automated systems for the printing and processing of three-dimensional models (3D prototyping) have also been introduced. The laboratory is additionally equipped with a quality control system. AI algorithms eliminate unforeseen errors during the design process, making it possible to manufacture complex, high-strength orthopedic dental structures from modern, high-quality materials within a significantly shorter timeframe.
