President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov who is currently on his leave in Caspian coast, reviewed the preparation of International rally Amul - Hazar 2018 and inspected the works at final stage of the races.
Early in the morning, the Head of the State came to the starting point of the final section of coming rally where he was met by the representatives of the press.

While being an important historical event in the life of the country, rally Amul – Hazar 2018 also indicates growing authority of the country in the world arena. Our success in sport sphere improve international authority of the Motherland and we all are witnessing this. Turkmens are friendly and peaceful nation and it is known in all continents. Last year, V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which by its scale can be compared to the Olympic Games, were successfully held in Ashgabat on the highest level. Asian Games 2017 has aroused wide response in the world. I think that our future is physically fit generation, which has to make significant input to large-scale reforms in the country, the Head of the State highlighted.
Answering the questions about the route of the race running across golden sand spaces of the Karakums and if the Head of the State has already driven along that track, Turkmen leader noted that this is new road for him. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that being both the theorist and practitioner at the same time, first, he studies the route in details to find the best solutions for successful overcome. Using the map, the Head of the State explained the complications of this part of the route followed from natural features of area. The track runs along the Caspian coast and has several hard turns, one of which is at the finish. So to speak, one wheel will be in the sea while another in the desert. The distance is 18 kilometres and everything will be clear once on the road.
The next question was about new vehicle presented there. At the same time, it was highlighted that Turkmenistan citizens sincerely love virtuosic skills of the Leader of the Nation in driving racing car and led by example, which is indicated by numerous mail and phone calls to mass media.
In this regard, the Head of the State highlighted again that it is necessary to study all specifications of this vehicle that was delivered from Germany before making any statements. It participated in Dakkar races and won the gold several times.
Answering the question on the idea of his own assembly of high-speed car, the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that having tried his vehicle driving on the sand, he understood that there are some technical problems, which need to be corrected. First, the engine is heating up a lot in our weather, which requires the improvement of the cooling system protecting the engine from overheating. Second, it is necessary to make something to stop the wheels being stuck in the sand. The Head of the State said that taking into account technical requirements of the vehicle, the referees considered that the vehicle has not been yet ready for the races. However, it would be able to be used in a month or so as it has very good potential as making the first drawings of new construction of off-road vehicle, which would be able to take over the sands, all important parameters like the complexity of landscape, trajectory of the track, etc. were accounted. It turned to be good vehicle for desert roads after all mathematic and geometric calculations and technical improvements.

I think the ability to work hard and have a good rest is the greatest happiness, the President said.
