A solemn event dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Turkish people was held at the residence of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Ashgabat.
The festive reception was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Turkmenistan, heads of international organisations, and representatives of the media. The official part of the program began with the performance of the state anthems of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Türkiye to Turkmenistan, Şener Cebeci, addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. The diplomat expressed gratitude to those present for sharing the celebration and read out the official message from the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on the occasion of the significant date.
On behalf of the Turkmen side, deputy minister of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov greeted the participants of the celebration. In his speech, he emphasised the strategic and multifaceted nature of the dialogue between Ashgabat and Ankara.
«Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye are bound by deep and friendly relations based on mutual respect, trust, shared interests, and the closeness of our peoples. Mutual visits and regular meetings between the heads of state of the two countries create a solid political foundation for the further development of bilateral cooperation», – noted the deputy head of foreign ministry of Turkmenistan.
The event was held in a traditionally warm and friendly atmosphere, confirming the high level of trust and mutual understanding between the two fraternal states.
