In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, large-scale transformations are being carried out in the education system of Turkmenistan, as in other areas. The reforms being implemented are aimed at improving the national education system and cultivating erudite, creative young people capable of managing innovative technologies.
An important step in this direction is the development of infrastructure: modern educational institutions, as well as social and cultural facilities, are regularly being built and commissioned throughout the country.
Comprehensive measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of the educational process, implemented in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan «On Education», the Program «Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: The National program for socioeconomic development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052 and the Concept for improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028 are yielding significant results and serve as a solid foundation for educational policy of the state.
On Knowledge and Student Day, two new educational institutions were officially opened in the Lebap velayat. In the village of Bozaryk, Garamysh gengeshlik, Farap etrap, a secondary school for 600 students opened its doors, and in the village of Duryyap, Hojaili gengeshlik, Charjev etrap, a school for 400 students opened its doors. The celebrations, which turned the first day of the school year into a double celebration, included musical performances celebrating prosperity and happy childhood of the country. Guests at the celebrations – Mejlis deputies, respected elders, representatives of public organisations, parents, and teachers – expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, for their care for the younger generation.
The construction of the new schools was carried out by the business entities «Bäş nur» and «Astana gurluşyk», which are members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The new temples of knowledge have created all the conditions for the comprehensive development and discovery talents of students. Classrooms are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including specialised computer science, labour, music and fine arts rooms, and language labs. For sports and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, there are equipped gyms, basketball, football and volleyball courts. In addition, schools are equipped with spacious cafeterias. The area adjacent to the new buildings has been improved.
On Knowledge and Student Youth Day, the first lessons were held in the new schools. In keeping with tradition, first-graders entering school for the first time were presented with «Bilimli» laptops on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag.
