In the People’s Republic of China—one of the world’s most dynamically developing countries, with a rich history—the international educational programme for journalists, “China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) 2026,” is being held as part of the “International Information Centre” project. It has become a true school of professional excellence for journalists from various countries, including Turkmenistan. The educational programme, which runs from September to December of this year, not only provides in-depth theoretical knowledge but also offers participants an opportunity to explore modern trends in international journalism in practice.

From its very first days, the educational programme has proved to be highly informative and intensive. On September 7, participants were particularly impressed by a lecture delivered by Li Yunhui, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, entitled “China’s National Conditions and Professional Training for Journalists: China’s Relations with Relevant Regions, Policies, and Practical Cooperation.”

The official opening ceremony of the educational programme took place on September 8. Its participants created a wonderful atmosphere of international friendship by attending the event in their national costumes. On the same day, as well as on September 10, practical Chinese language classes were organized for the journalists, focusing on language skills for everyday life and using public transportation.

A lecture devoted to artificial intelligence—one of the most important areas of modern journalism—was held on September 9 with the participation of Zhao Ping, a representative of China Central Television (CCTV). The lecture provided a detailed analysis of the role of new technologies in international communication.

Also, as part of the programme, an international event entitled “East Meets West: Charming Beijing,” under the theme “The Key to Nature,” was organized within the framework of the 11th “Colourful World” Cultural Exhibition at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing.
