One of the leading farms welcoming the glorious 35th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence with labor achievements is the poultry complex of the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm, located in the Bereket etrap of the Balkan velayat.

It should be noted that the Turkmen people have been engaged in poultry farming since ancient times, considering the chicken one of the seven treasures. Extensive work to develop poultry farming is being successfully carried out in the country in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State.

The activities of the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm, which is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, are organized on the basis of advanced technologies. The farm’s production facilities, occupying an area of 50 hectares, include a poultry complex designed to produce 16 million eggs per year, a processing workshop with an annual capacity of 8,000 tons of chicken meat, and a hatchery producing 14 million chicks.

Proper conditions have been created here for the appropriate keeping of poultry and strict quality control of products. During the 13 years since its establishment, the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm has earned the high trust of consumers by supplying competitive, environmentally friendly products to both domestic and foreign markets.

At the modern complex, broiler chicks gain a weight of several kilograms in just 40–45 days. Once the birds reach the required weight, they are sent to the processing workshop. Most of the processes here are automated. The finished products are packaged attractively and shipped to customers.

The breeding stock of the poultry complex is provided with nutritious and beneficial compound feed. This has a positive effect on the productivity of the birds and the quality of the final products. All specialized feed necessary for the healthy growth of poultry is produced at the dayhan farm’s own feed mill. The plant has an annual production capacity of 72,000 tons of feed.

It should be noted that the advanced dayhan farm has created all the necessary opportunities for the comprehensive development of poultry farming. This makes it possible to reduce production costs and, ultimately, supply the country’s consumer markets with products at affordable prices.

The production capacity of the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm is steadily increasing. A clear confirmation of this is the lease of the premises of the poultry complexes belonging to the Lebap and Balkan Velayat Associations of Consumer Societies under the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan. At present, operations at the new sites near the cities of Turkmenabat and Balkanabat have been organized with maximum efficiency, resulting in high production figures. Sanitary regulations and veterinary and zootechnical requirements are strictly observed at the facilities.

About seven years ago, the advanced farm became the first in the country to introduce incubation technology. The breeding chicks for egg production recently purchased for the complex from the world-famous American company “Hy-Line” have already fully adapted to the local climate. It is noteworthy that this type of work was first launched in the country precisely at the poultry complex of the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm.

“Private entrepreneurs engaged in poultry farming in the regions of the Motherland, as well as all interested parties, have been purchasing breeding eggs, fast-growing day-old chicks, as well as meat- and egg-laying chickens from our poultry complex for several years. We also provide preliminary consultations, making extensive use of the capabilities of the digital system in this work,” says Amanmyrat Tuvakov, head of the poultry complex of the “Nurly meýdan” dayhan farm in the Bereket etrap of the Balkan velayat.

“From April 23 to 27 this year, the T-MENA Hy-Line Congress, one of the world’s largest companies in the field of poultry farming and genetics for egg production, was held in Antalya, Republic of Türkiye. About 240 delegates from more than 40 countries of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia took part in it. I was fortunate to represent our country at this forum, which was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the renowned company.

“During the conference, alongside a comprehensive range of topical issues, particular attention was paid to the genetic development, health, care, and feeding of poultry, disease prevention, biosecurity measures, as well as methods for economical use of feed. Valuable experience was also exchanged concerning the specific features of poultry keeping, innovative technologies integrating digital solutions for flock management, and the organization of supplies of high-quality products to the global market. All the issues discussed at the international forum are highly significant.

“We express our sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, as well as to the President of the country, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for the opportunities created for product manufacturers and for their participation in industry forums, for their constant support for the development of domestic entrepreneurship, and wish them strong health, long life, and success in their extensive activities for the well-being of the Turkmen people. May celebrations continue one after another in our Motherland in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State!”
