During his state visit to the Republic of Korea, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the high-level Turkmen-Korean Business Forum. The Head of State identified the development of transport and logistics infrastructure as one of the key areas of cooperation.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan has significant potential to strengthen its position as a major transport and logistics hub of the Eurasian continent, connecting Central Asia with the Caspian region and key international corridors.

In this context, the President of Turkmenistan stated that Ashgabat is ready to consider proposals for the participation of South Korean companies in the implementation of major infrastructure projects aimed at creating modern transport and logistics systems.
