At the «Central Asia – Republic of Korea» Summit, Turkmenistan advocated for the development of educational and scientific cooperation among youth

During his state visit to the Republic of Korea, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the first «Central Asia – Republic of Korea» Summit, presenting comprehensive initiatives to deepen ties in science and education.

The head of state emphasised that the key factor in the region's sustainable development is supporting the younger generation and integrating the educational systems of Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea.

In particular, the President of Turkmenistan proposed the introduction of new forms of academic cooperation, including joint double degree programs, improving the digital literacy of young people through joint Olympiads, thematic competitions, and international scientific conferences, enhancing research and project work by young scientists, and establishing an Institute for supporting the development and implementation of innovative ideas of young people.

In conclusion, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the successful work of the «Central Asia – Republic of Korea» Cooperation Forum meets the long-term interests of the peoples of the participating states and contributes to the development of effective mechanisms for international integration.
