Today, a solemn ceremony for awarding the academic titles of Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher was held at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in honour of the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of the Motherland. The event, which added to the series of historically significant events of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, demonstrated that the scientific and educational system of our country has embarked on a path of harmonious development. The fact that the ceremony was held on the eve of the country’s Independence Day gave the solemn occasion a special atmosphere.
In the modern era, as a result of the successful implementation, under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, of large-scale reforms in the field of science and education initiated by Hero-Arkadag, advanced experience and innovative technologies are being actively introduced into the relevant system. At the same time, great importance is attached at the state level to the comprehensive development of science.
The solemn ceremony, held at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, which is confidently moving towards new heights of development with the swiftness of an Akhal-Teke horse, was attended by rectors of higher educational institutions, representatives of the academic and teaching staff, scientists of the Academy of Sciences, as well as researchers from the country’s scientific research institutes.
During the event, organised on the eve of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of Turkmenistan, the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Committee of Turkmenistan was read out on awarding the academic titles of Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher, approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In accordance with the document, certificates were presented to the scholars in a solemn ceremony.
Deep gratitude was expressed to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the care demonstrated at the state level for the development of science and education in the country and for creating all the necessary conditions for scientific activity. Those awarded the academic titles of Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher assured that they would devote all their abilities and accumulated experience to the further development of national science and to increasing the effectiveness of scientific research.
