During the opening of the Ahal-teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, placed special emphasis on the sports and training equipment and improvements of the large-scale facility.

Hero-Arkadag noted that the infrastructure created here fully complies with international equestrian standards and includes the entire necessary range of functional areas.

Thus, athletes and horse trainers now have access to an indoor and outdoor arena for regular training, a water simulator, racetracks, spectator stands, as well as a specialised venue for holding Ahal-teke beauty contests and a horse training arena.

A unique photo studio is available for guests and visitors of the complex. It features picturesque background compositions reflecting the seasons, where anyone can take memorable photographs with Ahal-teke horses.

The access road to the complex and the lighting system have undergone a complete reconstruction. The beginning of the route is decorated with famous architectural landmarks - the sculptural composition «Ýanardag taýçanagy bilen binasy» and the monument «Atly aýlaw».

The environmental aspect of the project is particularly noteworthy; the extensive forest planted around the complex provides a favourable microclimate in harmony with the picturesque natural landscape.
