Today, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the opening ceremonies of the International scientific and clinical oncology centre, the Dental centre, and the International pediatrics centre were held in Ashgabat.

In the era of the Revival, of the new epoch of the powerful state is being reborn under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, with large-scale reforms underway in the country, with special attention being paid to creating conditions to ensure a prosperous life for citizens. In this context, comprehensive work is underway to develop the national healthcare system, modernise its material and technical base, and bring the quality of medical services provided to the population in line with international standards.

Within the framework of the state program «Saglyk» («Health»), developed on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag, modern medical and diagnostic centers, multidisciplinary hospitals, sanatoriums and pharmaceutical enterprises are being built in Ashgabat and the regions of the country in a short period of time. In addition, the capabilities of medical institutions are being consistently expanded, and innovative approaches and advanced technologies are being introduced.

As is known, the day before, with the participation of Hero-Arkadag, the opening ceremony of a new, additional complex of buildings for a 400-bed treatment centre at the «Archman» sanatorium took place. This became a clear indication of the special attention paid to the development of the national healthcare system.

Positive reforms, achievements and successes in the healthcare sector of our country are receiving wide international recognition. A clear confirmation of this is the awarding of relevant certificates and attestations from international organisations to the constructed medical centres.
