On the 15th of October, at the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held in Baku, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed developing an International Code for the Peaceful Use of Artificial Intelligence in International Relations and Diplomacy.
The head of state noted the growing role of the digital dimension in international cooperation, noting that artificial intelligence and innovative technologies open up new promising opportunities for economic growth, increased public administration efficiency, and the renewal of diplomatic instruments.
At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan drew attention to the need to comply with legal and ethical standards when implementing advanced developments.
«Their use requires a responsible approach based on international law, trust, and consideration of the interests of all states. In this regard, Turkmenistan is proposing the development of an International code for the peaceful use of artificial intelligence in international relations and diplomacy», – said President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
