Taking the opportunity, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov invited again President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkmen delegation to take part in the third World Nomads Games as well as in the Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Kyrgyzstan in September as honoured guest.
President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has also invited President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to pay the official visit to Kyrgyz Republic. The invitation has been accepted with the gratitude. The time of the visit will be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
After extended negotiations in Seljouk Khan Hall, the document signing ceremony took place with the participation of the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
The following documents have been signed: The Agreement between the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat and the City Hall of Bishkek on Establishment of Twinning Relations between Ashgabat and Bishkek; the Agreement on Cooperation between the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; the Agreement between the Turkmenistan State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinematography and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic on joint cooperation in movie production and TV and Radio Broadcasting; the Programme of Cooperation in Archiving between the General Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Archive Agency under the State Registration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2018 0 - 2020; the Action Plan on Realization of Bilateral Cooperation under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management if Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Agriculture, food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic on Cooperation in Agricultural Sphere signed on August 5, 2015 in Bishkek; the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in prevention and response of emergency situations, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the main principles of cooperation in transport; the Programme of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2019 – 2020; the Agreement on Trade, Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic; the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on avoiding double taxation and preventing non-payment of taxes on income.
Under the applauses of the participants, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sooronbay jeen bekov signed the Delaration on Strategic Partnership, Consolidation of Friendship and Trust between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
After the documents signing ceremony, the leaders of two countries made the statement for the press in the Magtumguly Hall.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave official lunch in honour f high-ran guest where the leaders of two countries have exchanged the speeches.
In the afternoon, the Head of the Kyrgyz Republic went to Kypchak where he paid tribute to the first President of Turkmenistan, having laid the flowers to the Mausoleum and visited the Mosque.
High-rank guest lad the flowers to the Monuments of Independence of Turkmenistan. According to the traditions, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic planted young tree on the Honoured Guests Alley.
After, the leader of friendly country visited the Olympic village of the capital and expressed his delight of well-thought planning, architecture, functional characteristics and high technology provision of sport facilities.
According to the programme of the state visit, Kyrgyz leader visited Ashgabat Textile Complex where the exposition of ready made garments from jeans, terry, knitted and other fabrics, medical wool, cotton yarn, samples of velvet and ketene have been presented to Sooronbay Jeenbekov. The Head of friendly country noted the presence of good perspectives for intensification of beneficial partnership in this sphere.
After the familiarization with the complex, the motorcade of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov went to the International Airport of the capital from where high-ran guest flew to Turkmenbashy.
The State visit of Kyrgyz leader to Turkmenistan is continued. On the next day, the Leader of Kyrgyzstan will take part as an honoured guest in the Summit of the Head of the States – Founders of the International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea.
