Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The agenda included issues of implementing the National Rural Program, as well as the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

The first floor was given to the head of the Akhal velayat administration S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As reported, the necessary measures are currently being taken to increase the rate of cotton harvesting in the shortest possible time and without losses, including the use of agricultural machinery at full capacity, the uninterrupted operation of reception points and cotton gins.

Along with this, sowing wheat is underway in accordance with agro-technical standards effectively using agricultural machinery and units, and vegetative irrigation of crops is carried out.

At the same time, potato, vegetable and melon crops, and other crops are being cared for and harvested on the agricultural lands of the velayat.

It was informed about the ongoing winter preparation of heating systems of buildings and structures in the sphere of education and culture, public facilities and residential buildings, as well as on the progress of construction of various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to harvest cotton without losses, properly sow wheat in accordance with agro-technical requirements, addressing a number of specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

Having emphasized the importance of successfully implementing the tasks outlined in the National Rural Program, the head of state ordered to monitor the quality of construction of various facilities scheduled for opening this year.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal work of the current campaigns, the measures taken to organize the cotton harvest, ensure the coordinated work of the relevant structures involved, as well as the uninterrupted transportation, reception and placement of the harvested crop.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in compliance with agro-technical standards, efforts are being made to effectively use agricultural machinery and timely watering of crops. 

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state to increase the production of vegetable, melon and other food crops in the country and provide the population with these products, crop care and harvesting of potatoes, vegetable, melon and other crops are carried out in the fields of the velayat.

In connection with the approaching winter season, heating systems of educational and cultural buildings, public facilities and residential buildings are being prepared.

A report was also given on the progress of construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan drew attention to the importance of the seasonal agricultural work carried out these days, assigning the khyakim to sow wheat within the agro-technical timeframe and accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the quality of construction of buildings and structures for various purposes within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs scheduled for commissioning this year.

The working meeting via the digital system continued with a report by the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev on the progress of agricultural work in the fields of the region.

As noted, the necessary measures are currently being taken for the organized collection of cotton and increasing its pace, as well as for the efficient operation of combines and other equipment.

In addition, efforts are being made to ensure high-quality sowing of wheat in the region to obtain good shoots. 

Along with this, winter crops are being cared for, and the harvested crop is being reaped, as well as preparatory activities for the rice harvest.

It was reported on the preparation of social and cultural buildings in the velayat for the winter heating season and on the progress of construction of various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, which are planned to be commissioned this year.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan assigned the khyakim to take the necessary measures to sow wheat in accordance with agro-technical standards and harvest cotton in the shortest possible time and without losses.

The head of state also ordered to keep under constant control the high-quality execution of construction work at various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, scheduled for opening this year in the region.

Then, the khyakim of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal campaigns, agricultural measures being implemented to increase the pace and quality of the cotton harvest, as well as to properly use combines in the fields, ensure the smooth operation of specialized enterprises and the timely delivery of the harvest to the state.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in the velayat in compliance with agricultural technology requirements. Everything necessary is being done to operate special equipment at full capacity. Vegetation irrigation is being carried out on the sown fields.

Guided by the tasks set by the head of state to ensure food abundance in the country, winter potatoes, vegetable and melon crops and other agricultural crops are being cared for in the region, as well as the harvest is being collected. At the same time, preparations are underway for the rice harvest. 

Ii was informed on the preparatory work for the winter season of heating systems of buildings in the socio-cultural sphere, as well as on the progress of construction of various facilities in accordance with the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028, which are planned to be commissioned this year.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the importance of proper conduct of seasonal campaigns, ordering to ensure strict compliance with agro-technical standards during the sowing of wheat. Among the priority tasks, the President of the country identified the harvesting of cotton without losses and in the shortest possible time, instructing the khyakim to keep the implementation of work in this direction under constant control.

It was also noted that the focus should be on the quality of construction of various facilities within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program, which are planned to be opened this year. 

Then the khyakim of the Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work. 

It was reported that steps are being taken in the region to harvest cotton without losses, intensify the cotton harvesting campaign, effectively operate agricultural machinery, and ensure uninterrupted transportation of the harvested crop to receiving points and cleaning plants.

Along with this, the necessary measures are being implemented in the velayat to ensure high-quality and timely sowing of wheat, and irrigation is being carried out to obtain uniform shoots.

Field work on caring for winter potatoes, vegetable and melon crops and other agricultural crops, and harvesting of the grown crops is continuing. Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and vegetation irrigation are being carried out in areas sown with sugar beets.

The khyakim also reported on the ongoing preparations for the heating season of social and cultural buildings, as well as on the state of affairs at the construction sites of facilities that are planned to be commissioned this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of organizing the current seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical requirements, addressing specific instructions to the head of the velayat administration.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As reported, the harvesting of cotton is currently ongoing, the efficient operation of agricultural machinery, and uninterrupted transportation of the harvested crop to cotton gins have been ensured.

In order to ensure high-quality sowing of wheat in the velayats, the necessary measures are being taken to use special equipment and units at full capacity, and to provide farmers with high-quality seeds. Watering of seedlings is carried out in a timely manner.

In accordance with the commissions of the President of Turkmenistan to further strengthen food abundance in the regions, work is underway in the velayats to care for winter food crops and yield the harvested crop. In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, preparatory activities are being carried out for the rice harvest, and in Mary velayat, sugar beet care is being carried out.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to carry out current agricultural activities in accordance with agricultural technology standards and ordered the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure control over the work in this direction.

Then the head of state addressed the participants of the working meeting, emphasizing the importance of harvesting cotton without losses and sowing wheat within the established time frame and gave instructions to keep the progress of certain work under review.

Also, the President of Turkmenistan addressed a number of specific assignments on caring for winter crops in accordance with agricultural technology standards, on harvesting the grown crop at the proper level.
