Aikido coach of Ashgabat sport school, leader of “ALchyn – Ay” Sport Club, owner of III dan of Akikay Shamuhammed Bayliyev was awarded with the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for popularization of Japanese martial art in Turkmenistan.
Head of Japanese diplomatic mission Takahiro Katsumata presented the Certificate of Honour to Turkmen aikido master. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Katsumata noted that Sh. Bayliyev has been doing this martial art for 27 years and made big contribution to development of aikido in Turkmenistan. Having expressed the gratitude for the promotion of aikido and upbringing of number of talented wrestlers as well as for the assistance in organization of demonstrating trainings, which were held by Japanese coach, owner of VI dan Uji Khorikoshi, Japanese Ambassador highlighted that supporting activity of Shamuhammed Bayliyev is an input to development of Japanese – Turkmen cooperation.
