Meeting with the delegation of Republic of Tajikistan, which arrived in the Turkmen capital at the head of political adviser of the President of Tajikistan Mr. Zafar Saidov, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

In the course of the meeting held in official atmosphere, it was discussed the issues related to the current state and prospects of development of the interstate relations in political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres.

Preparation for upcoming official visit of President of Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Turkmenistan in this week became particular topic of discussion. As it was noted, Tajikistan considers the forthcoming summit in Ashgabat as a regular important landmark on the path of deepening and all-round expansion of interstate dialogue, further strengthening of ties of friendship and good-neighborliness that connect people of two brotherly countries during centuries.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan Abdurahim Ashur also took part in the meeting.
