In the first quarter of this year, Turkmenabat Chemical Plant has significantly increased the production of polyethylene pipes. The volume of production was 20,000 tons in January – February, which is considerably exceeds the results of the four quarters of the last year. Key role in this was played by the opening of polymeric complex in Kiyanly from where raw materials for production of polyethylene pipes, which have wide application, is delivered.

Today, the facility with 1,400 personnel produce phosphoric mineral fertilizers, sulphuric acid, aluminium sulphate for treatment of drinking water, technical and medical oxygen, liquid glass and other production.

In few years, production infrastructure of the plant will be supplemented by new facilities. The State Concern Turkmenchimiya announced international tender for project design and turnkey construction of the unit for production mineral fertilizers. The construction of the facility for production of phosphate fertilizers at Turkmenabat Chemical Plant has been discussed during working visit of Turkmen delegation to Japan on March 24 – 28.
