The program of day two of the large-scale cultural forum included richly varied activities, showcasing the versatility of Turkmen culture.

This morning, the village of Gerkez hosted a performance by the Nessilleriň Rowaçlyga Buýsanjy Children’s Ensemble. Young performers delighted and dazzled the audience with their sparkling artistic talents and prowess at singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.

A round-table meeting was held in a conference hall at a school in the town of Magtymguly. An exhibition of books and prints was timed to coincide with the meeting. The centerpiece of the exhibition is books by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov offering the world a fascinating glimpse into modern Turkmenistan, the country that has entered an era of intensive socio-economic and scientific-cultural development and along with this, upholds its centuries-old national traditions.

Among those attending the meeting were cultural workers, representatives of the education sector, library professionals, poets, writers, and journalists. The meeting participants held a meaningful exchange of opinions on spiritual heritage, its worldwide popularization, and present-day cultural and educational activities.

Then, folk ensembles gave spectacular performances at the town’s Botanical Garden, directly managed by the Research and Experimental Studies Center of S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection.

Day two of the Culture Week was topped off with a concert given by performing artists from Lebap and Mary velayats in the picturesque Duedash Gorge nearby the village of Gerkez.
