The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted the meeting with the delegation of the CIS Executive Committee chaired by Deputy Secretary of the Executive Committee – the CIS Deputy Executive Secretary Sergey Ivanov, which arrived in our country on working visit.

The website of foreign department of the country has informed that aspects of activation of cooperation between the CIS countries in political, economic, ecological, cultural and humanitarian spheres have been discussed during the session. Positive feedback has been given to the events held under the chairing of Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States this year.

The agenda has also included the preparation to the session of the Council of the Heads of the States of the Commonwealth of independent States, which is too be held in October this year.
