Significant increase of volumes of vegetable, gourds and forage crops has been provided at 70,000 hectares of land handed over to agricultural producers on long-term lease. 8,000 hectares were allocated for gardens where around 8 million fruit trees have been planted.
Starting from February, small tress of elite species of peach, pear, apricot, cherry, almond have been planted on 1,600 hectares. Areas allocated for grapes have also significantly been increased. This year, 5 million plants of grape have been planted this year.
Agricultural producers combine agricultural innovations and the best traditions of farming, use modern methods of irrigation, cultivates species, which have been adapted to local climate and soil conditions, owing to which productivity of crops is 150 – 200 tons from hectare.
