It includes the Forum for trade policy of member countries of the SPECA Programme, initiated by our country, sessions of working group of the SPECA Programme for sustainable transport and trade as well as Economic Forum SPECA 2019, by which outcomes it is planned to adopt the Ashgabat Initiative document. 14th session of the Board of the SPECA Programme will be held on November 21.
Relative joint work with the UN ECE and ESCAP is carried out for implementation of these documents, which are planned to be adopted at the above-mentioned events.
Development of cooperation with competent international organizations, where important role is given to joint programmes and projects, is one of priorities of foreign course of Turkmenistan.
It is necessary to mention the SPECA Programme among them, which is effectively implemented together with Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan a well as with the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asian and Pacific region (ESCAP) throughout 21 years.
