During the talks, the sides discussed aspects of diversification of Turkmen – Georgian collaboration in political, trade and economic and humanitarian spheres. Positive experience of cooperation under competent international organizations as well as between the Parliaments of two countries has been noted.
The role of Turkmen – Georgian Intergovernmental Commission in adding of actual impulse to bilateral cooperation has been highlighted in the context of discussion of perspective of trade and economic partnership.
It was mentioned that meeting of the Working Group for Trade Affairs, which has been established under the activity of the Intergovernmental Commission, took place on the day before. In this regard, the sides outlined priority spheres of consolidation of interests, which include fuel and energy, transport and communication complexes as well as reviewed other perspective directions of the partnership.
In the end of the meeting, the sides expressed mutual interest in activation of Turkmen – Georgian multidimensional dialog.
