The Centre of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted conference “health Life Style – Guarantee of Healthy Generation”, which was organized by the Mejlis, ministries of health protection and medical industry, education, sports and youth affairs, Academy of sciences, National Society of Red Crescent, public organizations. Elders, professors, lecturers and students of high educational institutes of the country have also taken part in the event.

The goal of the forum is to develop agreed measures in the sphere of propoaganda of healthy life style among the youth, physical activity, healthy nutrition, attraction of growing generation to active leisure as a useful alternative to extended communication with electronic gadgets.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke on this subjects at the last session of the Cabinet of Ministers, having highlighted the importance of inter-sectoral cooperation in this sphere for achievement of stable effect.

The participants highlighted that it is necessary to involve the capabilities of sport and equestrian complexes, stadiums and sport grounds, specialized schools and health improving centres for successful solution of set objective.

During the meeting, the necessity to consolidate the efforts of health protection and education spheres, sport and public organizations and all interested departments in order to make conditions for promotion of health saving technologies in the age of digitization.
