President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the Vice-Presidents of the Cabinet of Ministers, khyakims of the regions and Ashgabat, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, relevant ministries and departments, as well as members of the Extraordinary Commission to prevent the spread of diseases.

The agenda of the meeting included the issues of disease prevention and improvement of health care. The aspects of developing the strategy to prevent the spread of infectious diseases were also discussed.

The President underlined that the activities aimed at improving the health of the local population were based, first of all, on the social policy of the state, the legislative support, improvement of medical services, green focus, the principles of healthy lifestyle in the minds of each of us. In this context, the importance of explanatory work was emphasized.

Today, health care is a top priority of the social policy of the state. The Turkmen leader stated that our county had taken a set of appropriate preventive measures to significantly reduce the risk of diseases.

The President of Turkmenistan gave the relevant officials the instructions to conduct explanatory work and educational events for the reasons to observe the rules of hygiene.

The Turkmen leader emphasized that due to the purposeful work in the country, we had a reliable barrier to dangerous infectious diseases and had taken effective measures to prevent them.

At the end of the working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the participants success in achieving their goals.
