On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairperson of the national parliament congratulated the diplomat on the appointment to the high post and wished him every success in developing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states.

During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the key areas and priorities of the socially-oriented internal and foreign strategy of Turkmenistan that prioritizes comprehensive development of mutually beneficial cooperation with all countries worldwide.
The diplomat got acquainted with the structure and versatile work of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Turkmenistan expressed the interest of his country in developing bilateral trade, business, cultural and humanitarian relations, including in the sphere of tourism and sports. It was underlined the importance of the interparliamentary relations.
