The meeting was dedicated to measures for prevention of egress of sever virus infectious diseases to our country.
It was mentioned that Turkmenistan implements necessary and timely measures for prevention of entry of dangerous infectious diseases to the country. this work is carried out according to recommendations of the World Health Organizations taking into account national legislation.
It was highlighted at the briefing that Turkmenistan carries out wide and targeted information work aimed at improvement of knowledge level of the population of health and preventive subjects, which is important component of epidemic control.
Big work has been fulfilled for provision of Turkmenistan citizens with necessary medication and medical supplies. It was also noted that the Government of Turkmenistan takes all measures for effective and uninterrupted operation of road, railway, air and maritime transport.
At present time, family doctors carry out vaccination of the population against severe respiratory diseases, have activated educational preventive actions among school and university students as well as among children in kindergartens and their parents. Medical facilities of the country organize thematic training and practical seminars.
It is worth to mention that this integrated work is carried out in Turkmenistan according to recommendations and approval of the World Health Organization.
Targeted preventive measures are taken for fulfilment of objectives given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In this regard, Control Centres of the Emergency Commission for Combating of Spread of Diseases have been established. According to working plan, control and analysis of measures taken for prevention of entry of the above-mentioned infection to our country are carried out.
