The project has been entrusted to Кämil ymarat individual entity, which was contracted by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan. At present time, construction of administrative and laboratory buildings of the Institute is carried out. Opening of the facility is planned in September 2021.
Four-storey administrative building, two laboratory, technical facility, car parking will be located on the territory of 12,000 square meters. At the same time, procurement of profile innovative equipment will be carried out.
Six laboratories of the Institute, which will be accommodated in the main office building, will receive specialized digital equipment for scientific and research activity. Two stand-alone buildings will be provided with complex of modernized testing equipment for inspection of strength and reliability of building materials and constructions.
It is planned to open information centre in administrative building of the institute where data on vibration of facilities and surrounding territory during earthquakes will come from monitoring stations of engineering and seismic network. The received information is necessary for scientists and specialists for improvement of calculation of construction materials for resistance of seismic impact, verification of results of scientific studies and seismic resistance calculations as well as for confirmation of relative normative provisions and engineering assessment of intensity of earthquakes.
In addition, it is planned to open museum of history of scientific and research institute of seismic construction as well as exposition about devastating Ashgabat earthquake in 1948.
