New carpet factory is among 13 big production, social and cultural facilities in the velayat, which are planned to be opened on occasion of the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan. The structure of the facility will include administrative building, production workshop, maintenance workshop, warehouse and auxiliary facilities.
Handmade carpet production has an ancient history in Dashoguz Velayat. Traditions of ancient art are improved in modern age and are enriched with new art and technical techniques. Hundreds of carpet makers work in the structure of regional facility, which has its branches in etraps as well.
Business structures make significant contribution to development of horticulture in the north of the country. Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, resident of S. A. Niyazov etrap Saparbay Yusupov is one of experienced gardeners, who established private farm specialized in cultivation of fruits.
Ten hectares of land have been allocated for long-term lease to entrepreneur for the development. He had to put many efforts to restore soil fertility including the construction of drainage channel. Successfully combining scientific recommendation for local natural and climate conditions and traditions of fruit cultivation, Saparbay Yusupov receive good production of apple, apricot, plum and black cherry. This year, around 800 hundred fruit trees have been planted at new 3 hectares part of the garden.
Individual enterprises and entrepreneurs work successfully in this section of agricultural production and in processing of fruits and vegetable in other etraps of the region making input to realization of the state programme of import substitution and export orientation.
