Names of the winners of the art ahalteke horse image contest in works of visual, decorative and applied arts, publishing, TV and photo production have been announced under the celebration events held in Ashgabat Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan.

Valuable prizes have been awarded on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were awarded to the winners in the follow nominations: the best carpet, jewellery, the best picture and sculptural image of the horse as well as publishing products, photos and videos.

People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Ada Gutliyev received 3,000 US dollars award for the best carpet with the image of Turkmen horse. Teacher of Turkmen State Special Art School under the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan Shazada Orazberdiyev is the author of the best horse jewellery (1,500 US dollars).

Head of the Graphics Department of the Visual Art Faculty of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan Parahat Gapanchev is the author of the best picture dedicated to ahalteke horse (1,500 US dollars). Sculptural composition of the 6th grade student of the Academy of Arts Patdyk Patdykov was recognized as the best in its nomination (1,000 US dollars).

Photographer of Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper Hasan Magadov (1,000 US dollars) and TV operator of Türkmen owazy TV channel Alexey Kochetov (1,000 US dollars) have also received valuable prizes on behalf of the Head of the State.
