ABK Art studio, which is led by architect Bayram Shamuradov, presented several new projects to the jury of three international architectural contests. These works of Ashgabat architects are united with one important advantage – the forms and proportions are borrowed from the nature.

Due to bright flower image and skilful use of bionic principles, the project of Daisy kindergarten has attracted attention of the hosts of the contest organized by the Union of Architects of Russia by work request of company Sady Pridonya.

Alternation of white petals around yellow core in work of Ashgabat architects creates volumetric-spatial composition, owing to which the silhouette of construction receives plasticity and expressive harmony. The petals divide the space into symmetrical functional zones – playing, study, musical and sport. Children bedrooms connected with lower level not only by stairs but also by ramp are located one floor above. Such arrangement of interior in relation to the axle of the building brings not only strict order but also increases the space of the structure.

Ideas of bionic architecture in bio-tech style, connection with natural and urban environment are traced in other works of Ashgabat architects. One of the projects of children pre-school facilities developed by ABK Group for construction in local conditions was made in the shape of the pumpkin flower.

The project of school presented to international contest announced by the Ministry of Education of Canada in 2020 is among the latest art works of authors of the ABK. The school building is made in the shape of maple leaf – the symbol of North American country.

Ashgabat designers presented original project of shelters for flamingo observation, which is also based on bio-tech ideology, for the contest, which is held by municipality of Dubai (UAE). Natural reserve Ras Al Khor is located on the swamps in the mouth of Dubai Bay where these birds make their nests. Shelters for watching flamingos are installed around the reserve. The contest for making of the Flamingo Monitoring Centre has been announced under the project of development of protected territory.

Architects from Ashgabat developed the design of the building with the roof in the shape of bird, which widely spread its wings. Synthesis of architecture and sculpture has played an important role in creation of architectural image. Sculptural shape of the construction has become its compositional dominant give uniqueness to the facility.

The ABK studio not just designs creative contest facilities but also actively participates in realization of urban development programme in the country. At present time, specialists of the company work on the drawings of buildings of the second phase of residential estate in the western part of Ashgabat, sketches of modern recreation infrastructure at the territory adjacent to the lake in the north of the country, develop documentation for construction of living facilities in new administrative centres of Ahal.
