During the conversation, which was held in constructive manner, the Foreign ministers of two countries have discussed the agenda of international dialog. Importance of mutual support under various regional and international organizations has been noted and mutual interest in its continuation has been expressed.
Exchanging the views on priorities of cooperation, the sides highlighted importance of consolidated efforts for combating coronavirus pandemic. In this context, relevance of initiative of the President of Turkmenistan on involvement of mechanisms of scientific diplomacy and establishment of the Council of medical scientists for regular exchange of practice, knowledge and information on treatment methods and prevention of disease, medicine and equipment, personal protection devices has been noted.
Chinese side has focused on importance of adoption of National Severe Infectious Disease Prevention, Readiness and Response Plan, which proves the commitment of Turkmenistan to the course toward wide international cooperation for sustainable development.
The foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and China noted mutual interest of the countries in activation of cooperation in different spheres including importance of meetings and talks between representatives of the government and private sectors.
