Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discuss priorities of the Turkmen-Kazakh dialogue over a telephone conversation

On July 8, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi.

During the conversation, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries discussed a wide range of issues on the regional and international agenda, as well as the prospects for interstate cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, transport, cultural and humanitarian fields.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the similarity of the positions of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan on key issues of the global agenda. Particular attention was paid to the intensification of interaction on the platform of international organizations, and mutual support of political initiatives.

During the telephone conversation, the importance of cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic was emphasized.
