The ceremony of opening of a cultural event entitled “German spring” organized by the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Germany in Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture of our country took place in Ashgabat.
Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Germany for culture and public relations Dr. Hans-Ulrih Zaidt greeted participants of the solemn ceremony. Then, the QuintettAvanti brass band including musicians of prestigious German conservatoire – Hamburg University of Music and Theater performed a concert. The programme prepared by German virtuosos included the original compositions of classic and popular music.
Within the framework of the cultural event, the German acrobatic jugglers will perform a show at the State Circus of Turkmenistan. On April 16, the artists of the Laku Paka Theater that is very popular all over the world will stage a modern version of the classic Grimm fairy tale - the Bremen Town Musicians.
The delegation of the friendly country will be received at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and will visit Magtymguly Turkmen State University and secondary school 27 where the German language is taught. The guests will also visit the Gonur-depe unique archeological complex located on the territory of the Ancient Merv State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
