State Natural Reserve – “Bereketli Garagum” will be founded on the territory of Garagum Desert.

State Nature Reserves play an important role in the field of preservation of the natural landscapes, flora and fauna of our country. As it is indicated in the relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the Nature Reserve is created with a view of further improvement of the activity on protection and conservation of unique ecosystem and natural resources of the largest in the world Garagum Desert.

Moreover, study and wide popularization of natural sights of Turkmenistan besides ecological aspect is urged to promote the realization of huge tourist potential of our country.
