Today, it was celebrated the Day of workers of power industry. Solemnities devoted to the professional day were held all over the country – at the enterprises of the sector, in small and large settlements. Turkmen capital traditionally became the center of main festive events. Numerous guests, front-rank workers of the sector came from all parts of the country for participation in these events.
In his congratulatory Address to the workers of power industry, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly appreciated their worthy contribution to socio-economic development of the country. Speaking about further measures on acceleration of the power of national energy system and its export potential, the head of state expressed the conviction that the Turkmen power engineering specialists will cope with the tasks set before them with honor.
Achievements and prospects of development of the national power industry have been demonstrated at the International exhibition and scientific conference “Major trends of development of power industry of Turkmenistan”, being traditionally held in the days of festive solemnities in honor of power engineering specialists.
Today, the international exhibition organized by the Ministry of Energy and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country in the capital’s Exhibition Center “Sergi koshgi” completed its work.
Forum hosted the officials of the large business and state structures, specialists-managers from many world countries, including USA, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, People’s Republic of China, France, Turkey, FRG, Great Britain, Japan and others.
Growth pace of power engineering sector, its export possibilities have been represented at the expositions of the Ministry of Energy and core departments, largest enterprises of the sector, serving the power stations and transmission facilities. It was demonstrated the stands of numerous private enterprises, which realize construction-and-assembling operations in this sphere, suppliers of technique and equipment. The construction projects of new and modernization of existing power stations attracted particular attention of the guests and participants of economic review.
The representatives of nearly 60 foreign companies – world leaders in the field of heavy engineering, engineering companies, designers of high-technology equipment for power stations, transmission facilities, and distributive systems expanded their stands in the spacious halls of the exhibition complex.
Scientific conference became main component of the international forum. The heads and leading specialists of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, other departments, core higher educational establishments and research institutes, representatives of foreign companies took part in it. The agenda of the meeting included vital issues of development of power engineering system of the country, inking into account the raise of its international significance, introduction of the latest technologies in the field of energy conservation, use of alternative sources of energy and others.
The representatives of the companies “Alstom” (France), “General Electric” (USA), “GE” (Germany), “АВВ” (Switzerland), “BEST” (Turkey), “Kwanteh”, “Elster Metronica”, “High-voltage union” Concern (Russian) offered their new project proposals and presentations. The delivered reports covered quite wide range of problems: beginning from modernization of sectoral infrastructure and modern management methods of power grid till its technical safety and field reliability.
At that, the current exhibition and conference attached new impulse to successful development of international dialogue in the sphere of power engineering, contributed to efficient exchange of new proposals and ideas. Upon completion of the forum, it was held the awarding ceremony of diplomas and certificates to its participants.
Within the framework of the international forum, the national specialists of power engineering sector and their foreign partners visited the power station in Abadan etrap of Ashgabat.
