President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of a new facility built in the Turkmen capital. The largest in the region trading and entertainment centre recieved a symbolic name – Berkarar.
The territory of the complex covers an area of 17.5 hectares. The new complex includes the 12-storey tower of a business centre and adjacent to it four-storey trade and entertainment centre and a parking lot designed for 1,300 cars. According to the project, all favourable for recreation conditions will be created on the territory of the complex. This will include construction of a complex of fountains and laying parking zone. (the contract is amounted to 541,500,000 manats).
A total of 340 stores are located on the territory of the shopping precinct that covers an area of 140,000 square metres.

Luxury Villeroy & Boch products of the 19th century were demonstrated to the Turkmen leader. For more than 260 years of its existence, Villeroy & Boch run the plant in more than 23 countries around the world, opened its stores in 125 countries in Europe, Asia and America, and won the title of a notable manufacturer of luxury porcelain and ceramic tableware. And now brand store is opened in Ashgabat.
Kyamil supermarket that occupies the territory of 7,000 square metres was opened on the first floor of the complex.
Cafes and restraunts that will offer the foods of different peoples of the world are located on the second floor.
There is the children's playground - the 'children's world' with amusement machines, rides and swings, colourful toys on the third floor that covers an area of 4,400 square metres.
There are also a skating rink with an area of 400 square meters, two movie theatres designed for 60 seats each, a 3D movie theatre designed for 60 seats, 5D movie theatre designed for eight seats, and one VIP movie theatre designed for eight seats, bowling, modern attractions, ladies' beauty salons and cafes. Moreover, there are a photo studio, cellular compartment, dry cleaning, dress-making and tailoring establishments and exchange office.
