Days of Culture of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan were opened in Ashgabat. The delegation, which arrived in Turkmenistan, included the heads of all-Chinese Association of workers of literature and art of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Association of Acrobats, Association of workers of the literature and art of Sichuan and Jiangsu provinces, masters of opera, decorative-applied and acrobatic arts.
The delegation of the People’s Republic of China has been received at the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, where it was held the discussion of issues of further interaction of two countries in various directions of cultural sphere. In the course of view exchange, the visitors have been in detail informed about priorities of foreign policy of the independent neutral Turkmen state, one of which is development of the international cooperation in cultural-humanitarian area.
In the evening, in Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan, it was held a solemn opening of the Days of Culture of the People’s Republic of China in our country. The concert program included the performances of soloist of the Beijing Opera and acrobatic troupe from the Celestial Empire.
Bright suits, national music, original, perfected acrobatic numbers have given to spectators a possibility to experience the spirit of ancient and modern China, estimate improbable choreography and magic of circus art, passing from generation to generation. In their performance, the actors of world famous Dalian acrobatic troupe have masterly connected the dance rhythms, gymnastic holds with purely acrobatic tricks.
In the program of Days of Culture of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan, there is an exhibition, opening on August 5 at the State Fine Arts Museum of Turkmenistan. Its expositions will present more than sixty works of the Chinese photo artists, which considerable part will be dedications to the unique nature of native land.
Visitors of an exhibition will enjoy the property of the Chinese culture and art - the Suchzhou embroidery, existing more than two thousand years. The exposition contain about thirty unique creative works of pupils and followers of master Zhen Hojsjan, who created own method of embroidery in the fifties of the last century. Creative work of the master was a start of combination of traditional art of Suchzhou embroidery with modern Chinese and foreign painting. In connection with achievements in development of art of the Suchzhou embroidery, Zhen Hojsjan was named as the master of “a sacred needle”. Thanks to a master class, the visitors of exhibition will be able to see, how these unique in own way art canvases are created.
On the same day, the representatives of the Chinese acrobatic art will hold the master classes at the State Circus of Turkmenistan.
Joint gala concert of masters of culture and art of two countries to be held on August 6 at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan will become a finishing chord of Days of Culture of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan.
Introductory cultural program, which includes the visiting of the State Historic-cultural Reserve “Old Nisa”, capital museums and other sights of Ashgabat, was prepared for the guests.
