President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the Order of demobilization of military personnel who serve their military duty on recruitment from the Armed and other forces and military structures and on regular recruitment of Turkmenistan’s citizens to military service.

By his Order, Turkmen leader has ordered:

1. To demobilize military personnel who serve their military duty on recruitment and completed period set out in the Law of Turkmenistan on Military Duty and Military Service from the Armed and other forces and military structures of Turkmenistan in April – June 2021.

2. To recruit male citizens of Turkmenistan, who reached the age of 18 by the day of recruitment, who are not entitled to deferment from military service, lost the entitlement to deferment of the citizens to military service up to the age of 27, to military duty.

3. This Order comes into force from the date of publication.
