Great news arrived from Nice, France - a second-year student of the Department of String Instruments of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva Jemal Agajanova took the second place in the violin nomination at the international competition, which took place in March in an online format and brought together musicians from 30 countries.

In frames of the contest programme, Jemal, who competed in the age category of 18-20 years, performed the first part of Concerto No. 5 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concertmaster is a diploma winner of international competitions Stella Faramazova. D. Agajanova got 90 points. A violinist from Poland won the first place.  

Jemal's achievement at such a prestigious competition is an impressive success for the entire national violin school. It was not the first bright performance of a young instrumentalist at prestigious shows. In 2020, she won the third place at the international competition of musicians of Islamic states, held in Baku (Azerbaijan).
