The opening of the Reception Center of Turkmenistan located near the Congress Center has been held after the plenary session of the conference “International cooperation of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan for peace and Trust” with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Under applauses of the participants, the head of the state has cut a traditional ribbon and entered the building where the participants of the event have been greeted in different languages by child art collective and instrumental ensemble.
The Center occupies 26,854 square meters. Its main Banquette Hall accommodates 1,000 seats. It equipped with comfortable modern furniture from the leading foreign producers and decorated with amazing Turkmen handmade carpets.
In addition, the Center has premises designated for meetings with guests. Original bas-relieves and colorful elements of national ornament were used in decoration of the building.
The Guest Hall with cloakroom and other premises are decorated with piece of arts picturing beautiful nature of Turkmenistan.
Official reception has been given to the participants of the Forum in the Center. During the reception, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a speech. The head of the state noted that today, Turkmenistan moves forward to new levels of development. Large-scale reforms are implemented in the country, high rates of growth are achieved in all spheres of the economy. In this context, special attention is paid to expansion of friendly and beneficial relations with all interested foreign partners.
The fact that neutral status of the Motherland has been recognized two times by the UN General Assembly, which was reflected in special Resolutions, indicates wide support of international initiatives proposed by our country and improvement of its authority in the world arena, the head of the state said.
Performance of the art masters have been held during official reception. After, the President of Turkmenistan has said warm goodbye to all and left the place of event.
