This is the second year in a row that Turkmen National Conservatoire has implemented the Gallery of Young Composers Project. Its participants are students at the Department of Composition and recent graduates. This year, the number of participants has increased significantly. Lecturers at the Department of Composition express belief that the Gallery of Young Composers Project will become one of the traditions at the Conservatoire.

A continuation of the project is three concerts performed by fourteen students at the Department of Composition and recent graduates. Young composers presented their works to the jury, consisting of professionals and music lovers. Most participants performed their own works. The performances of young composers illustrate that they are not afraid to experiment, seek something new in shades of melody and try a different way to express themselves. They will certainly show up their outstanding talent in the future.

The closing action of the Gallery of Young Composers Project was the music review writing workshop. Each student was to write a review on one of the pieces, performed in any of three concerts, i.e. the works composed by their friends.
