The Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan (Russian Federation) with support of Astrakhan State University (ASU) has organized flower laying ceremony to the monument of great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtumguly Fragi, which was installed in beautiful park in the center of the city.

Acting Director of International Relation Agency A. G. Aydin, Deputy Director of ASU A.V. Titov, Deputy Head of Administration of Volga Region Municipality N. S. Malysheva, Chairman of the Council of Astrakhan Regional Public Organization for preservation and development of Turkmen culture “Turkmenistan” F. R. Kadyrova as well as representatives of Turkmen diaspora, teachers and student have taken part in the ceremony.

The ceremony was forestalled by reading of poems. Turkmen students have read famous poems of poet and philosopher Magtumguly. Further, all participants have laid flowers to the monument of Magtumguly Fragi.
