Solo concert of prize winner of international contests, virtuosic musician Aybolek Muhiyeva, who is well-known by Ashgabat’s music lovers, has been held in Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen State Conservatory on June 1.

For the last several years, Aybolek has been demonstrating her talent to the audience not only in Turkmenistan but abroad as well. In 2018, she won the first place at prestige international contest in Armenia. Online performance of the violinists was held with success at prestige music festival in Rome, the capital of Italy. The performance has brought the main prize of the contest.

The program of the concert was opened by the first part of the Violin Concerto by classic of the world music Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The piano part in this work was performed by senior tutor of the conservatory, concert master and winner of international contests Stella Faramazova.

Mozart compositions, which concert has been masterly performed by the duet of violin and piano, are thought to be the main ones in repertoire of the leading violinists of the world. They are difficult to play as musician has to achieve the purity and lightness of sound.

Same as many of her colleagues, Aybolek includes compositions of genius Italian virtuoso artist Niccolò Paganini into her solo concerts. His Caprice no. 23 has been performed for the visitors this time.

The composition, which was performed solo, was included to the program of the evening because talented young women likes extremely difficult performance technique, which distinguish this and other works of the master. The fact that performance of Caprice promotes technical growth of the violinist was another reason to perform the art of Paganini.

The concert was continued by Sonata for Violin and Piano no.4 by Beethoven. Performance of music of another outstanding composer allowed the audience enjoying decisive and energy but at the same time soft and melodic sonata. This chamber music has demonstrated harmonious ensemble of violin and piano to the audience again.

Muhiyeva has also included the tune of wonderful Russian composer of the XIX century Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, who is one of the favorite authors of Aybolek, to the program of her concert. This is what the musician said about this work after the concert: “The melody played at the concert this evening is a very short but very beautiful screenplay, in which one phrase is followed by another. Outstanding harmony and beauty”.

The concert was finished by the performance of «Gypsy» by Maurice Ravel. Aybolek has dreamed for a long time to play this work, which is one of the most difficult and technical in the repertoire of the violinist. The work was included to the program because the motifs and images of gypsy music are close to talented young musician.

Applauses of the audience and great pleasure received by the listeners from sinking into beautiful world of classic music art have proven that the artist has performed her task with excellence.
