The members of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China, who arrived in the Turkmen capital led by the Deputy Director of the Eurasia Countries Department of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China, were received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The members of the Chinese delegation stated with satisfaction that due to the farsighted policy pursued by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who paid particular attention to development of the wide international cooperation, the Turkmen-Chinese strategic partnership that included grandiose joint projects of the national and regional importance, had reached the qualitatively new level within the last years. ‘The project of the century’ – the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, the lengthiest one on the planet that was put into operation in 2009, heads the impressive list of joint projects.
During the meeting the interlocutors exchanged their views on the current status and prospects for traditionally friendly bilateral dialogue. Appreciating highly the growth and positivity of the Turkmen-Chinese relations in the political, economic, scientific, technological, cultural, and other spheres, the meeting participants confirmed the mutual aspiration of the both countries for further strengthening of the strategic partnership in all spheres, including ensuring global energy safety, stability and sustainable development.
During their visit to the Turkmen capital the guests were received at the Political Council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan as well as the Institute for Strategic Planning and Economic Development of Turkmenistan to discuss the prospects for enhancing efficient cooperation, including due to implementation of joint projects.
Within the framework of their staying in Ashgabat, the representatives of the Celestial Empire visit the Main National Museum, the National Turkmen Carpet Museum and landmarks of the Turkmen capital.
