The main responsibility of a modern flight attendant is to ensure the safety of passengers during the flight. In addition, stewards and flight attendants do everything to make passengers feel comfortable.
Turkmenistan Airlines is Turkmenistan's flagship carrier with hundreds of flight attendants on domestic and international routes. According to official figures, Turkmen Airlines is the safest airline in Asia. The air transport of Turkmenistan is of particular importance for providing long-distance passenger and cargo transportation.
In recent years, the development of air transport in Turkmenistan has been characterized by an increasing intensification. This is largely facilitated by the implementation of the «National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012 – 2030», developed on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In April 1993, Turkmenistan became a full member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The commissioning of the new International Airport of the Turkmen capital - the main "air gate" of the country, was another important step towards the implementation of the grandiose plan of the leader of the nation to turn Turkmenistan into the largest transport and logistics center of the continent, a key link connecting Europe and Asia.
At present, the national air park "Turkmenistan Airlines" mainly has such world-famous aircrafts as "Boeing" and others, every year the air harbor of Turkmenistan is replenished with new and modern airliners.
The policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is aimed at the accelerated socio-economic development of the country and the establishment of broad regional and international cooperation, one of the priorities of which is the formation of a modern ramified transport and communication infrastructure.
Of particular importance in this regard is cooperation with such a structure as ICAO - the International Civil Aviation Organization, which is a specialized agency of the United Nations.
